I love this time of year where we live, the colours in the fall along with great skies make this a great time for paintings unfortunately the colourful leaves do not last long especially after a strong wind .  At this time in Nov. all the leaves are off the trees.

This is a 16×20 acrylic on a gallery style canvas titled Country Road in the Fall.

This time of year we get all kinds of crazy weather. this painting is called Snow Storm Passing By.  A light dusting of snow fell and as the storm passed the sunlight was a sharp contrast to the dark clouds.  These are acrylic on 8×8 board.

Last week my wife and I did a trip around Georgian Bay  I love the diversity of the bay as the topography varies from flat lands to rugged Canadian Shield I did a few paintings of the type of landscape we saw on the trip and I hope to do more.  These are all 8×8 gallery style acrylics of the north east side of Georgian bay.
