Sorry I haven’t shown anything new.

I’ve been  getting ready for a show next week and have been busy framing.

It’s a show and sale of six artists and we get together  twice a year to show our art.

  1. Have a great time with that show, Richard! 🙂

  2. Hi Richard hope it goes really well for you. Want to ask probably a rather silly question but don’t know a lot about watercolour, when they say drybrushing an area, does this mean no water whatsoever on the brush and also for the paint? I tried an exercise from a book thats all but its not right. Lesliepaints said you know about drybrushing. Hope you can help.

  3. Hope it all goes well! Don’t get worn out, I know how tiring (and exciting) exhibitions can be!

  4. No question about technique in water colour is silly, we all have to learn .
This is one of the hardest to learn because it is a matter of practicing. The trick is to drag the brush over the paper with as little water as possible but with enough pigment to get the desired efect. The paper should be dry to the touch.
