Watching short track… whew..

I live in an area which includes the Niagara Escarpment.  This is a ridge of cliffs that runs from Tobermory (Lake Huron Bruce peninsula) to  down past Niagara Falls.  I can spent days walking in this area.  There are five major waterfalls, some of which you have seen on this blog and lots and lots of boulders with cedars seemingly growing out of them.  This is a sample of the type of topography.

  1. This is beautiful. This painting shows off your technique. Everything in it is so believable, and yet not “in your face”. I like the line work through the tree roots and the texture in the boulders.

  2. That’s a lovely work Richard. I like the lines and colours you’ve used. Catches the moment.

  3. Very well done. I love the gnarly roots and the texture of the rocks. Makes we want to walk there.

  4. Very nice. Ink and watercolour, is it? Or all watercolour?

  5. Love the texture in the rocks and trees. Captured perfectly.
